Hey! I’m Sam. I’m currently a junior at Carthage College studying Marketing and GIS. I’m from Middleton, WI. I’m a car enthusiast, an aviation nerd, and a bike nerd. During the school year I spend most of my time on school work and my job, but I am also involved in Carthage Car Club and Velocity Consulting. The car club is a club that I had a hand in starting along with some of my friends. Last spring we held a benefit car meet and raised over a thousand dollars for a local charity. Velocity is a full service student run consulting firm. We do actual consulting work.
As I mentioned I also have a job on campus. I work as a Student Ambassador. I give tours, mingle, present on the college, and train new ambassadors. During the past 2 summers I have worked at a bike shop back home called Erik’s Bike Shop. It’s the largest independent bike shop in the US. Before that, I owned my own lawn care business. This business is what sparked my interest in Marketing.
